PALM SPRINGS, FL — July 30, 2025 — Faith Hope Love Charity, Inc. is proud to announce that its initiative, Stand Down, has been awarded a $10,000 grant from the Community Foundation for Palm Beach and Martin Counties (CFPBMC). This funding will directly support Stand Down House, established in 2000 to offer emergency and transitional housing along with comprehensive support services for Veterans in need.
Stand Down is a veteran-designed program that addresses critical challenges such as homelessness, PTSD, mental health, and physical limitations. By offering layered support and early intervention strategies, the initiative empowers Veterans and their families on their path to stability and recovery.
The grant will be used to provide essential services including meals, safe housing, healthcare resources, employment training, transportation assistance, and professional attire for job interviews.
