PALM SPRINGS, FLA – MARCH 8, 2019 – Stand Down, an initiative of Faith Hope Love Charity, Inc. was the recipient of a generous soiree hosted by The Church of Bethesda-By-The-Sea on March 7 for the purpose of introducing their members to Stand Down and its initiative of helping veterans throughout Palm Beach County.
The Church members enjoyed lovely hors d’oeuvres while being introduced to the Stand Down organization and its initiative while listening to beautiful live music provided by Eric Akers, saxophonist and former Stand Down client. The members enjoyed interacting with staff, board members and clients who found success from the program. Many of the members donated funds while others wanted to get more involved through volunteerism and long-term and impactful gifts.
“We are so appreciative of The Church of Bethesda-By-The-Sea and their efforts to help us with our mission,” said Roy Foster, Founder and Executive Director for Faith Hope Love Charities. Foster spent the evening speaking with members one-on-one to educate them on the details of the mission.
